Politics of Dancing

Barack Obama convinced more than half of Americans that he would bring change that would make things better. Barack Obama will no doubt bring change but no matter how much he dances around the truth it's not likely his policies and ideas will bring anything but trouble. Some of the things he wants to do may seem good at first but will end up costing us in the long run. His habit of associating with radical leftists will make it difficult for him to bring people together. When he's questioned about his associations once again he dances around the truth. Sooner or later the truth will catch up to him. If he does what he says he will do I expect a Republican landslide in 2 years and another one in 4 years. Hopefully the thought of this will convince him to change his mind and use a more sensible approach to the problems we face as a country. The more distance Barack Obama puts between him and the far left radicals the better off we will be. His ability to compromise and surround himself with the right people will determine his succes as a President. A stubborn President supported by the radical left would be a disaster waiting to happen. We could be looking at 4 long years of very divided partisan politics. I think Barack Obama is smart enough to realize this and will probably be forced to give up on most of his ideas and dance more and more to the right.

Freedom is Good!

52% of Americans support Socialism and the expansion of government control and 48% of Americans support freedom and independence from government control. We have 4 years to convince at least 3% of Americans that freedom is a good thing.

The Fairness Doctrine

My version of the Fairness Doctrine is to give equal time to Democrats on talk radio to give their point of view in exchange for all schools employing an equal number of Democrats and Republicans to educate our children.

We need more Conservative teachers.

Democrats have a clear advantage in the education or what I call the corruption of our children. For years they have been allowed to interject their political opinions in the classroom. Even at inappropriate times when it has no relevance to the class that is being taught. Democrats have complete control of the education system and Conservatives should be funding scholarship programs specifically aimed at putting more Conservatives in the schools teaching our kids. Parents should also be as active as possible in their childrens education so they know exactly how and what they're being taught.

Socialist gets elected

The election of Barack Obama as our next President is a historic accomplishment for African Americans. It shows that there is no glass ceiling preventing them from reaching as high as they aspire to go. I congratulate Barack Obama and wish him success in bringing the country forward in a poitive direction. I don't agree with most of his policies or ideas but I will wait and see what he does or doesn't do before I pass judgement. While we wait I suggest Americans hide all their guns in Iraq. The government would never think of looking for them there.

Buying the Presidency

Barack Obama may prove that the presidency can be bought if he wins. John McCain may prove that it can't be bought if he wins. Barack Obama is spending insane amounts of money to get elected. He is spending more money than any candidate in history. He agreed to a limit and then went back on his word because he knew he couldn't win on substance and would need to spend a lot of money to convince enough people to vote for him. The Democratic party also knew this and was willing to destroy the economy to make themselves and Barack Obama look like the saviors of the American people. Bad mortgages were pushed by Democrats including Barack Obama and his friends at ACORN. The collapse of the mortgage market combined with the high price of oil thanks to the Democrats unwilling to allow drilling in the U.S. has brought down our economy.

ACORN

An acorn doesn't fall far from the tree. Barack Obama has close ties to the group ACORN which is under investigation in numerous states for voter fraud on a very large scale. It's just a matter of time before he will be connected to this widespread scam.

Democrats want to legalize robbery

A bank robber goes into a bank and says "Give me all the money that belongs to your richest customers and deposit the money into the accounts of customers with little or no money until everyone has the same amount of money." This is the new spread the wealth plan. We need to punish people for their hard work and reward the lazy people.

The wrong direction

People tend to forget the fact that Democrats have been in control for the last 2 years and if Barack Obama gets elected they will have complete control of leading the country down the same path we've been on for the last 2 years which is the wrong direction. They will increase spending and taxes. They will rewrite the constitution. They will destroy our military. They will increase the cost of oil. They will take away our freedom and independence. They will turn us into a welfare state. They will make government much bigger and give high paying cushy jobs to their friends and family.

Barack Obama WILL increase everyone's taxes!

When Barack Obama says he will increase taxes on corporations he is using smoke and mirrors to keep people from realizing that everyone will be paying for this stupid idea. High taxes on corporations will lead to companies increasing the cost of goods and services to consumers. It will lead to companies moving operations overseas and layoffs. It will financially hurt millions of Americans who own stock including retirement plans. This is really a tax on everyone because everyone will end up paying in one way or another.

Spread the wealth!

Spreading the wealth is Barack Obama's plan to punish hard work and reward laziness. That's his plan to overwhelm the government with handouts and increased spending. This is a strategy for disaster in an already hurting economy.

Vote for me!

Would you vote for me if I was a member of the KKK for 20 years? Would you vote for me if I said I don't agree with the views of the KKK even though I was a member until recently? Would you trust my judgement if I told you I once associated with a well known terrorist? Would you trust me if I bought my house with the help of a slum lord and convicted felon? Would you vote for me if I supported groups that participated in voter fraud and pushed banks to write bad loans that helped destroy the economy? Would you believe me if I told you I would expand government and increase spending without raising your taxes? Would you vote for me if you knew you would lose your job when I increased taxes on your rich boss? If you can answer yes to these questions without hesitation you know who to vote for. I'll sleep well at night knowing that I didn't vote for just change I voted for character.

Our Country Deserves Better

Tension is mounting in the Presidential election and cooler heads must prevail. The results in this election regardless of outcome will probably bring violent protests. This is a problem you would expect in a third world country but it can and almost certainly will happen given the current financial crisis and the extreme liberal positions of Barack Obama. There is a lot of angry people and the problem is escalating to the breaking point. We need to calmly present our views of why John McCain is the best choice for America and win the hearts and minds of Barack Obama supporters without resorting to insults and personal attacks. Just state the facts and if everyone voting for John McCain convinces a couple of people to vote for McCain instead of Obama then John McCain will easily win in November. Regardless of who wins we need to keep our cool and work together for the common good of everyone. Our country deserves better and we owe it to future generations to make things better not worse.

Eat the Rich

Robin Hood stole from the rich and gave to the poor. That's the economic policy of Barack Obama. Create class warfare, crush American ambition, give government control of everything and raise taxes to pay for the mess he helped create. That's Barack Obama's plan for America. Barack Obama might not be a terrorist but he's doing a good job scaring people into voting for him. The smooth talking front runner for the President of the United States is a socialist who is trying to divide us and make us dependent on a government that he will control. John McCain isn't my first choice for President but we must stand together to defend our constitution, our freedom and the American way of life. We must defeat Barack Obama and the best way to do that is to vote for John McCain in November.

Renegotiate my rent

20 years ago I lost my job and the bank foreclosed on my house. The government never offered to help me pay for my house. Why is it now the government is willing to provide homes for people who can't afford them and when will the government jump in and help me renegotiate my rent? I can afford house payments but I can't get financing because of strict loan requirements. Why aren't they helping the people who can actually make house payments? I don't know what is more irritating, the banks stupidity or the governments.

Voter Fraud

For years I've been telling people there is a need for the use of ID's when voting. Nobody should be allowed to vote without a picture ID, NOBODY! The group ACORN was just busted for voter fraud. Why am I not surprised? We need to start using ID's NOW!

Economic Boom to Bust

Despite George Bush's shortcomings he set a record for the most consecutive months of economic growth. The economy died after the Democrats took over the House and Senate in 2006. Greed and corruption killed the economy not George Bush. George Bush was reelected in 2004 with an economy that was still strong. There's plenty of blame to go around for the current financial crisis. It's to bad the complete truth won't come out until after the election of our next President. I would hate to think of our next President being involved in shady dealings with real estate developers and financial institutions. I would hate to think of our next President as greedy and corrupt. Don't be surprised if it comes out after the election we've elected a false prophet in sheep's clothing.

Government bailout

They turned a financial bailout into an early Christmas present for the government. I didn't think it was possible but a bad bill was made worse. The taxpayers just increased their ownership in a failing government thanks to a bill loaded with earmarks totally unrelated to the financial crisis.

Tax the rich

It sounds great in a campaign speech. It sounds great if you're not rich. But the truth is taxing the rich hurts the poor more than it hurts the rich. It's the ultimate job killer. The biggest thing driving down the economy is the rapidly growing trade deficit. Taxing corporations and rich people more makes them move operations overseas where conditions are more favorable. We need to cut taxes and keep jobs here.

Government Regulation

Everyone is screaming for regulation of the financial industry. I might support regulation if I thought it would be enforced. I might support it if it would not drive up the cost of doing business. I might support it if it would not increase the size of an already bloated government. There's always going to be people that will find ways around regulations. Regulations cost would be passed on to consumers. Regulation would inevitably lead to higher taxes to pay for enforcement costs. What we need is a thorough investigation in to how the current financial crisis was covered up for so long. We need to know who was getting paid what by who to push these bad loans. I'm sure there must have been some illegal activity going on such as fraud and bribery of public officials via campaign donations. We don't need regulations. We need criminal prosecutions!

Plan B- The common sense bailout plan

The bailout plan continues to grow loaded with pork from both sides of the aisle. This is what happens when greedy people get a blank check. My plan is to loan 700 billion dollars to the banks that are in the best financial shape and let them buy the bad loans dirt cheap and turn them around. This would be their reward for being responsible and obviously they would be better at managing the money. The government should not get involved. We don't need more government interference, that's part of the problem. Banks were pushed by politicians to give loans to people who couldn't afford them and in some cases illegal aliens were given loans. Numerous politicians were getting campaign contributions from these failed financial institutions and now those same politicians want 700 billion dollars from the taxpayers. I think whoever votes for this should be voted out of office. The one good thing that might come out of this is the politicians and CEO's who had their hands in the cookie jar might be weeded out. Let the witch hunt begin!

Media Wars

When I was younger I thought everything reported in the news was honest, accurate, and unbiased. I now know that the only way to get the unfiltered truth is to do your own research and decide for yourself what the truth is. The average person doesn't have the time or energy to do this and probably gets their news from just a few sources. The Democrats have a big advantage in the media wars. They control most TV stations, newspapers and magazines. The Republicans best weapon is talk radio which is dominated by Republicans bashing Democrats. Both Republicans and Democrats finance outside groups to do the dirty work of attacking the other side. They barrage us with political ads and I wonder about all of the money being spent that could probably be spent on better things.

No bailout!!!!!!!!!!!!

I voted for George Bush twice and despite the collapse of the economy which he has almost no control over, I am much better off than I was 8 years ago. Sorry Barack! People need to take responsibility for their own fate and stop blaming every one else for their problems. Don't expect government to help you because they break everything they touch and expect the taxpayers to pay for it. I oppose any bailout of any company that was run into the ground by greedy CEO's and corrupt politicians. The voters need to take a stand against this insanity even if it means losing money in the short term. The idea of shelling out 700 billion dollars to the same people who probably created the problem and letting the government control the spending of the money is like putting a drug addict in a crack house and expecting him to watch others do drugs while he just sits there. There's already politicians mostly Democrats drooling over spending the money they will control. I say we cut them off and throw them out of office starting with Nancy Pelosi the most annoying person on earth. If she got a dollar for everytime she mentioned George Bush she would already have 700 billion dollars and wouldn't have to beg for it.
